Biography

Emre Subaşı is a partner at Günay Erdoğan Law Firm and possesses exceptional expertise in capital markets, public offerings, finance law, and venture capital.

After completing a two-year legal internship and practicing as a freelance attorney, he served as a Legal Counsel at the Capital Markets Board (CMB) for five years, contributing to both the Legal Affairs Department and the Corporate Finance Department. In 2019, Emre joined the founding team of Turkey’s first and only national electronic commodity exchange, the Turkish Mercantile Exchange (TMEX), where he served as the Chief Legal Counsel for nearly three years. He then transitioned to a well-known law firm in Istanbul and became head of the Venture Capital (VC) Department. In addition to being a partner at Günay & Erdoğan Law Firm, Emre also serves as the chief legal counsel for a promising start-up.
